Chronology

Born Townsville 1950.    Lived in northern, outback and central Queensland.  In 1969 moved to Brisbane to commence art education at Queensland College of Art.  Studied graphics, design and illustration.  Graduated 1975.  Began 4 year jewellery apprenticeship in 1976.  Worked as artist/jeweller/jewellery designer and musician, 1980-1991.

First solo exhibition of paintings and drawings at Impact Art Gallery, Maleny, QLD.

Since 1995 Peter Hudson has made regular trips to the Northern Territory and to outback and northern Queensland to paint and to gather information for this art. He has a strong commitment to his work and a deep love of his main influence and inspiration - the Australian landscape and Australian culture.
